You will have an advisor that will be there to help you know what classes to take, how to navigate the UCR system, and to answer any questions you have impacting your academic and career success. You can book individual appointments, attend drop-in advising, access group advising, and attend professional events with AGSM Graduate Student Success.

HOW Can I Prepare for an Advising Session?
- Know your Student ID number.
- Write down the questions you would like answered.
- Make an Appointment.
- We recommend that you ask short questions during drop-in hours and schedule longer appointments for more complex questions.
- Take notes during the session to remember important answers and information.
- If you want your resume reviewed, please send it in advance to your advisor in Word format before your career advising appointment.
