The Ph.D. program combines UCR's tradition as a major research university with the School of Business expertese in leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship in Inland Southern California. UCR School of Business is located in a living laboratory -- one of the fastest growing regions in California at the nexus of international trade and commerce, the perfect environment to research and explore business in today's complex marketplace.
The Ph.D. program trains graduate students in the design and execution of original research in management. Areas of concentration include Finance, Management, Marketing, and Operations. The program will soon offer a concentration in Accounting.
UCR offers a variety of multi-year fellowship packages for incoming students that may include stipends, full or partial payment of tuition and fees, and appointment as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or Graduate Student Researcher (GSR). Ph.D. applicants must complete the Supplemental Fellowship Form as an attachment to the UCR Graduate Application for Admission. This form will be reviewed as part of your submitted graduate application.
