Effective Immediately: UCR GMAT/GRE and TOEFL/IELTS requirement waived

As a response to the unique global impact caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus, and an effort to support our students, the University of California, Riverside Graduate School of Business will alter the admissions requirements for all applicants for Fall 2020.

Changes will be as follows:

  • The GMAT/GRE will not be required for all applicants, but strongly recommended.
  • For international applicants, the TOEFL/IELTS exam can be waived, based upon an admissions interview.
  • The Round 3 deadline is now March 31. The international student deadline is June 1.

Should you want your application to be considered without the submission of a GMAT/GRE score, simply include the phrase “Consider without exam” at the top of your statement of purpose essay.

Should you need to request a TOEFL/IELTS waiver, please send an email to ucr_agsm@ucr.edu with the subject “TOEFL/IELTS Waiver Interview” requesting an interview along with your application ID number.
