Riverside is located in sunny Southern California, just east of Los Angeles in the heart of the Inland Empire.

Riverside County is an economic powerhouse. It has ranked eighth nationally for new job creation since 2020. In fact, Riverside County surpasses both LA County and Orange County in terms of growth, adding 100,300 new jobs from 2019 to 2023 (O.C. Register, 2023). Riverside is also the fifteenth-largest job market in the country. In fact, nearly half the goods that enter the U.S. come through our area, making us a hub for international trade and commerce and a great place to get a business education. 

Riverside is also a cost-effective place to live with easy access to international airports and major tourist destinations including beaches and mountains. As a result of our unique location, AGSM graduates are landing jobs in California from San Diego to San Francisco as well as in major capitals across the globe.

UCR’s School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Less than 6% of business schools worldwide have earned AACSB accreditation, and many leading companies recruit only from AACSB-accredited business degree programs. Graduates from AACSB-accredited programs also report higher salaries than graduates of other programs.
