AGSM Graduate Career Services

The UC Riverside School of Business is dedicated to preparing and enabling students to achieve their full professional potential through personalized support and a strong sense of community. Our team provides resources and services tailored to help students build a meaningful career in their chosen business field.

We’re your holistic graduate business student support center ― helping you succeed in internships, job searches, and business careers.

The Career Development provides resources and services tailored to help you build a meaningful career in your chosen business field through:

  • One-on-one career coaching: Career Development coaches will work with you to develop your career plan, create a professional resume and cover letter, and practice your interviewing skills.
  • Group workshops: We offer a variety of workshops on topics such as resume writing, interview skills, personal branding, job search strategies, and networking.
  • Industry connections: We have an extensive network of industry contacts who are eager to hire our students for exciting business careers. We regularly send carefully curated resume submissions of top candidates to our employee partners, and employers may also post directly to the live job board we maintain at the Career Development.

We’re with you every step of the way to help you reach your internship and career goals.

Drive Your Career with Real-World Opportunities

Your professional and personal development is just as important as your core courses and academic work. The skilled staff at the Career Development can help you with your job search.

Three unique experiential programs offer you real-world experiences and ways to grow your network:

Business Ready

BusinessReady is a virtual eight-week program — running from July to August — that prepares incoming AGSM students for graduate school and career readiness. The program covers academic and career planning, resume review, job search preparation, employment and recruitment strategies, peer networking opportunities, mock interviews, and an alumni career panel.

Executive Mentor Network

Our Executive Mentor Network connects you with experienced executives in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. You’ll be matched with a mentor who has similar professional interests and career goals, giving you opportunities to gather ideas and information that are valuable for your academic studies, internships, and long-term career goals. Applications open in the Fall.

MBA Fellowship Program

The MBA Fellowship Program is an experiential learning opportunity that gives graduating MBA candidates the chance to gain hands-on experience within organizations in Riverside County. Not only will this consulting experience add to your résumé and broaden your skill set, you’ll also give back to the community. Applications open in the Winter quarter.
