Scholarships Awarded to 52 Outstanding Business Students
The School of Business awarded scholarships to 52 outstanding undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. students, in recognition of their academic excellence and promise as future business leaders.
At the annual Scholarships and Awards Dinner, held on October 18th, the School of Business celebrated the academic achievement of its 52 scholarship recipients, and recognized the generosity of the donors whose scholarship funds have made the dream of a top education a reality for so many students.
Twenty-seven scholarship funds have been established by donors to champion student success and over $132,000 was distributed in awards. The total amount of scholarship funds distributed this year has more than quadrupled from the previous year.
“This is a result of the enormous growth in support that we have received from our donors, alumni and greater community,” said Yunzeng Wang, Dean of the School of Business. “We are so very grateful for your support. Working together with us, we are able to fulfill the promise of a high quality, affordable education for our students.”
Scholarships help alleviate a good portion of students’ financial burden and allow our students to take full advantage of the truly unique educational experiences available to them at a top University of California business school.
