Sonal is a second-year MBA candidate with seven years of experience in the tech industry. She enjoys applying her technical expertise and business knowledge to solve customer problems. During her undergraduate studies, she majored in computer science, which led to a fulfilling role at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an associate manager. It was there where she developed a keen interest in product strategy, inspiring her to pursue an MBA to take her career to the next level. This past summer, she interned at Willmeng Construction, Inc. as a product manager. She is proud to be an active member of the AGSM Student Career Advisory Council where she takes pride in mentoring her peers, and helping them achieve their professional aspirations.

After earning his bachelor's degree in business management and marketing from La Sierra University, Alan is now pursuing his MBA at UCR with a concentration in business analytics. Previously, he worked as assistant director of career services at La Sierra University, focusing on employer relations and internships. Alan serves on the CDC Council's UCR Marketing Committee and assists UCR's main Career Center coordinating the LAEP program. Ultimately, he aims to consult with organizations through roles in business analysis and development where he can apply skills in analyzing key metrics and strategic advising. As a member of the council, he looks forward to making connections across industries.

Rushank is a second-year MBA candidate and a seasoned business development professional, dedicated to driving performance and fostering long-term growth. His diverse background spans both well-established enterprises and dynamic start-ups, showcasing his ability to thrive and innovate in various business landscapes. With a four-year track in the customer service sector, he has honed his communication and active listening skills to consistently deliver top-tier experiences to clients. His ultimate goal is to work within a multinational corporation, playing a pivotal role in driving its success and growth trajectory. Eager to pay it forward, he is determined to share the support and guidance he received from the CDC with incoming students, using his expertise to help them navigate their career paths confidently and achieve success.

Stephanie is a second-year MBA candidate with a concentration in marketing, driven by a passion for crafting compelling marketing visualizations and conducting insightful data analysis. During her summer internship at Kaiser Permanente's marketing analytics department, she harnessed her enthusiasm for data-driven decision-making to make significant contributions to the organization. Stephanie became a member of the Student Career Advisory Council with the dual purpose of personal and professional growth while also serving as a resource for her peers, helping them access and utilize the available resources to achieve their aspirations.

Ankush (Hank) Kataria is an MBA candidate, concentrating in business analytics, with six years of experience in the automotive and defense sector. He specializes in project management and data analysis. His is passionate about continuous learning and excels in problem-solving. Currently, he serves as the director of Business Relations within the CDC Advisory Council, actively contributing to the development of alumni and employer relationships to support his fellow students and the CDC.

Daniel Lan is a second-year MBA candidate with marketing and business analytics concentrations. He graduated from UC Davis in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in managerial economics and two minors in communication and Chinese. During his first year in the MBA program, Daniel served as an AGSM Graduate Student Ambassador and in the AGSM Student Association where he empowered the business graduate community through providing professional and social opportunities for students. Daniel has interned in business and government environments exploring digital marketing strategy and promoting public communication. In the future, he hopes to work in technology, entertainment, or an industry using his marketing skills. As a proud member of the Student Career Advisory Council, Daniel hopes to pay forward the lessons he learned at UC Riverside with the incoming students by providing peer support, hosting CDC events, and sharing career resources.

Devyani Mishra is a dynamic and driven MBA candidate. With a solid background in retail and operations management, she brings a wealth of experience in people management and leadership, skills she has honed during her professional journey. In addition to her academic pursuits, Devyani is passionate about community building. Shivani Narayanan is an Master of Finance candidate and has five years of rich professional background in finance, accounting, audit and taxation in both India and Australia. Having experience in two diverse markets, she is ready to embark on her journey into U.S. financial markets. She is excited to be a CDC Student Career Advisor, helping bridge the gap between aspiring talent and industry leaders, and working with peers to develop professional networks to unlock their career potential. Emil Shirokikh is a first year PMBA candidate. After successfully completing his mathematics degree at the University of Stuttgart, Emil embarked on a dynamic career journey, beginning as a project manager at a reputable life insurance company in Germany. He then made a strategic shift to Capgemini, where he thrived in roles as a business analyst and eventually as an IT consultant. This led him to pursue earning his MBA, driven by his vision of establishing his own company, Belto. He joined the CDC Student Advisory Council to further develop his personal skills and expand his network.

Bhumika Singh is a second-year MBA candidate with a strong academic foundation, having successfully completed her bachelor's degree in commerce (honors) in India. With a rich and diverse background, she has garnered experience across various roles within the fields of finance and accounting. Simran Singh is a PMBA candidate with over a year of professional experience in the consulting industry. She has a proven ability to handle a variety of transactions pertaining to advisory, mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, shareholder disputes, business development, and process improvement. Her passion for becoming a management consultant stems from a deep-seated drive to solve complex problems, drive organizational growth, and empower businesses to reach their full potential. Nandini is a second-year MBA with a marketing concentration. She has three years’ experience as an operations associate in an U.S. consulting firm along with a brief stint at her own online start-up in India. This past summer, she worked at a Silicon Valley-based startup as their marketing intern. Nandini is a passionate mentor and joined the Student Career Advisory Council because she wants to connect her peers to the right resources for their career development.

Celine Zhong is a second-year MBA candidate with accounting concentration. She earned her bachelor's degree with a focus on managerial statistics in Shanghai, China and plans to become a CPA to pursue a career in accounting. Celine joined the CDC Advisory Council to support her peers while networking and building valuable connections with like-minded individuals.

Junlin Zeng is an MSBA candidate with a concentration in finance, and has a background in philosophy and applied mathematics. Specializing in epistemology, he has also accumulated a year of experience as an environmental engineering researcher. His keen interest lies in discovering overlooked investment opportunities and identifying good businesses at fair prices. He joined the Career Development Center Student Advisory Council to improve his interpersonal skills, foster personal growth, and assist other students in finding opportunities for their advancement.

Jeffrey Zhu is a second-year MBA candidate specializing in operations and supply chain management.
