Matching Funds Opportunities

Increase Your Impact!

A matching gift is a charitable contribution made by a donor to attract future funding. These gifts may be used for anything from research support to scholarships. By taking advantage of a matching gift opportunity, your dollars will go further in benefitting the School of Business and its students. Dollar for dollar, your gift will be matched by funds already set aside by an original donor, increasing the immediate impact of your contribution at no additional cost to you.

The Anderson Family & the AGSM Scholars Initiative

In 2014, the Anderson Family Foundation committed $850,000 as matching funds to attract new philanthropic support for the AGSM Scholars initiative at the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. This scholarship initiative will increase the enrollment of Inland Southern California students pursuing a degree at the graduate school.

Named Scholarships

By pledging $12,500 or more toward this initiative, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling its final value. Your pledge will become a graduate scholarship that will be awarded in your name(s) or in the name(s) of someone you would like to honor.

The University of California, Riverside and the School of Business are grateful for our partnership with the Anderson family, proudly carrying the name A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM) for 20 years. The matching fund gift which the Anderson Family Foundation has provided is a testament of its commitment to the school’s vision and future growth.

Corporate Matching

There are other matching gift opportunities you can leverage to further increase your impact. Many companies offer a matching gift benefit to their employees to inspire charitable giving in support of education.
