Readmission Policy / Practice

Students previously admitted to BSAD or Actuarial Science majors:

Students who were admitted to a major within the School of Business i.e., Business Administration or Actuarial Sciences, and withdrew from the University in good academic standing are eligible to apply for readmission by submitting a readmission application and meeting with a School of Business Advisor. Students are required to have a 2.0 GPA in both UCR cumulative and Upper Division (UD) major courses. Please visit the Office of the Registrar for information on Readmission Processing & Deadlines:

Students who were dismissed from the School of Business and the University and are seeking readmission may not apply for readmission in the term immediately following their notification of dismissal (excluding summer). During this time, students can take courses through UCR Extension. We recommend that students repeat courses through UCR Extension in which they previously received D+ or below to help improve GPA. Outstanding breadth requirements can be completed through UCR Extension or a California Community College. Please note that taking courses at another university or community college will not directly impact your GPA here at UCR. It can help to demonstrate your academic ability and complete degree requirements. For readmission, all students are required to have a 2.0 GPA in both UCR cumulative and UD major courses. Please visit the Office of the Registrar for information on Readmission Processing & Deadlines.:
