Faculty-led Global Programs Takes Students to Oxford in Fall

By Sean Jasso |

The Oxford Intensive Accelerator Program at Kellogg College, University of Oxford, brought together UCR Business students for a summer intensive with customized lectures from Oxford and Cambridge scholars and practitioners focused on entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and innovation. Led by Dr. Sean Jasso, the program has been part of UCR’s Oxford tradition since 2010, offering students a powerful blend of academic insight and global experience. Highlights included an entrepreneurship lecture at Oxford's Said Business School, a tour of the Mini Cooper automobile factory to witness the UK’s leading manufacturing automation, a visit to London for cultural immersion, an inspiring tour of Oxford’s New College—one of the university’s oldest and most architecturally stunning colleges—followed by a choral concert at Christ Church Cathedral. As the program concluded with certificates presented at Kellogg College, students looked ahead to future international experiences, including an upcoming program in China in December 2025 and a return to Oxford during spring break in March 2026.
