GRHCC Golf Tournament & AGSM Ambassadors

UCR Business Graduate Ambassadors volunteer at the Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GRHCC) 2021 Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

The Greater Riverside Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GRHCC) held their annual scholarship golf tournament on Friday, June 18, 2021. The GRHCC is a non-profit organization committed to supporting small business and economic development, and serving the community through providing internships and scholarships for students. The annual golf tournament supports these initiatives, benefitting both undergraduate and graduate students. The UCR Business graduate ambassadors volunteered at the event, assisting with checking in golfers, handing out prizes, and making sure all participants enjoyed a fun day of golf.

The graduate student ambassadors are a select group of UCR business students who are dedicated to serving and representing the business school through community service, hosting official events, working with the school on projects, and recruiting prospective students. Andrew Rodriguez, second year MBA student and graduate ambassador, will be joining the GRHCC scholarship committee this year, assisting in reviewing applications and awarding scholarships.

Through the partnership with GRHCC, the UCR graduate student ambassadors are able to network with local business owners, provide outreach to its members connecting them with business school resources, and provide community service to the greater Riverside area.
